Dr. Li received his Ph.D. in Physics from Texas A&M University, where he conducted research on quantum sensing using squeezed light under the supervision of Marlan O. Scully and Girish S. Agarwal.

Before joining MTSU, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Washington University in St. Louis, where he worked on quantum light source generation, optical micro-resonators and integrated photonics.

His research focuses on quantum optics, nonlinear photonics, optical microresonators, quantum sensing and quantum integrated photonics
